Jones currently lives in Trenton, NJ.  “While living in Ponce Puerto Rico, I was surrounded by the local art scene where my father worked as the town carpenter. When I was young, my father introduced me to a renowned city artist named Maura. Maura handed me an original piece which he had just completed and it inspired me to become an artist. Right after that encounter, my father recognized my ambition to be an artist and taught me how to draw my very first tree step by step. Now that my father has passed on, my trees have lost its fruit and leaves, but the roots have stayed strong. Trees give life to all living things and are the only reason people exist, and although there are no two trees alike, my trees are uniquely similar as they all float in my imagination of time and space.”
